Once again, Darndale will host one of the biggest and best Halloween celebrations in Dublin.
The ‘Darndale Together After Dark’ Halloween Festival will take place at Darndale Belcamp Village Centre between 3.30-6.30pm on Saturday, October 31, and culminate in a firework display at Belcamp Park at 7.15.
Consistently proving the perfect Halloween happening for all ages, it is organised by Dublin City Council, in partnership with Darndale Together, a community focused initiative of the local authority, overseen by the Darndale Implementation Oversight Group (DIOG).
According to Dr Jack Nolan Chair of the DIOG, the people of Darndale and its surrounds deserve great credit for building an important and memorable annual event.
“The commitment, support and participation of local people has ensured Darndale After Dark is now one of the biggest and best Halloween celebrations in Dublin,” he said.
Events centred at Darndale Belcamp Village Centre will include music and dance acts, as well as street performers.
“’Darndale Together After Dark’ promotes the area in a wonderfully positive light, as well as bringing great fun and colour,” Dr Jack Nolan added.
The event takes place courtesy of Creative Places, the Arts Council, Sphere 17, Archways, Northside Partnership, the Department of Justice and Equality, Darndale Belcamp Village Centre and An Garda Síochána.
